Jeonbuk Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation (Chairman Shim Deok-seop) announced on the 28th that it will promote the ‘Excellent Cultural Planning Program Support Project’ to enhance the opportunity for residents to enjoy high-quality culture and arts by discovering and supporting excellent content from local art organizations.

This project supports expenses necessary for operating cultural planning programs (exhibitions, performances, publications, etc.) held in Gochang-gun in 2024, targeting art organizations that have their address in Gochang-gun as of the announcement date.
The support areas include eight fields: ▲Literature ▲Fine Arts ▲Crafts ▲Photography ▲Music ▲Korean Traditional Music ▲Theater ▲Multidisciplinary, with plans to select and support about six teams, providing a minimum of 5 million KRW and a maximum of 8 million KRW per organization.
Applications can be submitted by downloading the application form from the notice section of the Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation website, filling it out, and sending it via email by the 15th of next month.
Executive Director Ahn Jong-seon said, “We will continue to pay attention and make efforts to strengthen the creative capabilities and competitiveness of local artists and art organizations,” adding, “We hope many local art organizations will show interest and participate.”
