- Around 14,000 households supplied centered on Cheonan Station, transforming into a mini new town
- 'Cheonan Station Gyeongnam Honorsville Urban Heights' attracts attention by securing future value
The Cheonan Station old downtown area is on the verge of revival, shedding its outdated image through various favorable factors such as urban regeneration projects, redevelopment, reconstruction projects, and upcoming Cheonan housing supply.
First, the Cheonan Station Innovation District Urban Regeneration Project is underway. This project, valued at 227.1 billion KRW, aims to develop knowledge industry centers, multi-family housing, and a complex transfer center in the Wachon-dong area by 2026, with construction starting this April.
In addition, various projects such as the Cheonan Green Startup Town, created to foster the startup industry, and the Urban Regeneration Harmony Center are progressing. Cheonan City announced that the tenant companies in the Urban Regeneration Harmony Center recorded sales of 23.2 billion KRW within 18 months and generated employment for hundreds of new workers. The city plans to complete the Innost Tower in the second phase by next year, which will accommodate about 200 startups and 1,000 residents.
Other projects include the Bongmyeong Community and Janghang Line Platform development under the Bongmyeong District Urban Regeneration New Deal Project, as well as the Namsan District Urban Regeneration New Deal Project, which will establish a local history museum and community hubs to enrich the old downtown area around Cheonan Station, all contributing to a completely transformed landscape.
Redevelopment, reconstruction, and urban development projects for aging housing adjacent to Cheonan Station, which will be reborn with a completely new look, are also active. Surrounding Cheonan Station, projects such as Sinbu 3 District, Seonghwang, Wonseong redevelopment districts, Munhwa 3, Seonghwang district, Bongmyeong 3 district, Daeheung 4 district, Sajik district, and Munhwa 2 district are on track, with about 11,000 households undergoing mini new town-scale redevelopment. Adding two recently completed complexes with about 3,000 households, the total will become a new town with approximately 14,000 households.
In line with this, the remodeling of Cheonan Station will be completed by 2026. Approximately 80 billion KRW has been invested, and the project plans to restore the Cheonan Station plaza and apply wooden finishing materials to modernize the high-rise building design, transforming it into a key facility that will invigorate the old downtown development.
Amid these dramatic changes around Cheonan Station, attention is focused on the new Cheonan housing complex “Cheonan Station Gyeongnam Honorsville Urban Heights” launched by SM Group. This is not only an opportunity to secure the future value of old downtown development but also a branded complex highly preferred by buyers.
Located in Seongjeong-dong, Cheonan-si, Chungnam, Cheonan Station Gyeongnam Honorsville Urban Heights will consist of 293 households across underground 1 floor to 22 floors above ground, including △ 250 units of 84㎡ and △ 43 units of 128㎡.
Cheonan Station Gyeongnam Honorsville Urban Heights boasts excellent surrounding infrastructure. Shinsaegae Department Store, E-Mart, CGV, and shopping facilities in the Sinbu Cultural Street area are all within walking distance. Nearby neighborhood facilities such as Cheonan Soccer Center and Seongjeong Parks 6 and 7 are adjacent, and residents can also enjoy the waterfront space along the Cheonancheon stream near the complex, providing excellent living comfort.
Moreover, the currently underway GTX-C Cheonan Station will be accessible on foot, making it one of the biggest beneficiaries of the GTX extension.
The complex also offers outstanding product features. It applies a luxurious exterior with curtain wall look, typically seen only in high-end specialized complexes, and glass balcony windows, a recent trend in the housing market, are installed in all units to provide excellent views. The design maximizes views and space utilization, offering a specialized layout for medium-to-large apartments with a wide effective living area. A private welcome gate reminiscent of a luxury resort, rather than a typical apartment, is another distinctive feature.
Additionally, high-end community facilities and services such as breakfast delivery, car wash, laundry, baby care, and pet-friendly care in the parking lot provide various concierge services tailored to residents’ preferences, allowing them to experience a luxurious lifestyle reminiscent of a high-end resort.
Furthermore, recent diagnostic results have alleviated buyers’ concerns about poor construction. A preliminary safety inspection awarded the highest grade possible to the building under construction. It is also expected to be offered at a reasonable price compared to branded large complexes recently launched near Cheonan Station.
In other words, this apartment complex, recognized for its safety and outstanding product quality that maximizes SM Group’s expertise, will be introduced to the market at a reasonable price, attracting buyers.
Meanwhile, before the model house opens, Cheonan Station Gyeongnam Honorsville Urban Heights is operating an on-site promotional center in the area where the project is located.
