This inspection will be organized and operated by an inspection team composed of city and district offices and consumer food hygiene inspectors. Joint inspections of school lunch delivery companies will be conducted together with the Changwon Office of Education.
The main inspection items include ▲ storage conditions of ingredients and hygiene management at each stage of cooking and serving ▲ use of expired products ▲ health checkups of cooking staff ▲ hygiene and cleanliness management in the kitchen ▲ compliance with preservation food storage obligations ▲ compliance with temperature standards for transportation vehicles of ingredient suppliers, etc.
During the hygiene inspection, frequently occurring foods and cooked foods that pose a risk of food poisoning will be collected and tested for five types of food poisoning bacteria.
Son Gil-kwang, Director of the Health and Hygiene Division, said, “Spring is a period with a high risk of food poisoning due to large temperature differences between day and night. We will do our best to strengthen food hygiene management through joint inspections to create a safe meal environment.”
