Geumcheon-gu Holds Integrated Briefing Session for G-Valley SME Support Projects

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that the "G Valley Small and Medium Enterprise Support Project Integrated Briefing Session" will be held jointly with eight organizations including the Seoul Business Agency and the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation at the G Valley Corporate Citizen Hall on March 6th at 2 PM.

Recently, many G Valley small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have been facing difficulties in management due to high interest rates and economic recession, leading to increased inquiries and demand for support projects. The briefing session was organized to comprehensively guide existing and new projects that are not well known to resident companies, aiming to assist in business management and strengthening competitiveness.

The briefing session is jointly conducted by eight organizations responsible for SME support projects: Geumcheon-gu Office, Seoul Business Agency, Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Industrial Bank of Korea, Korea Design Development Promotion Agency (DK Works), and the Internet of Things (IoT) Technology Support Center.

Each organization in charge of specific support projects will directly explain information by sector such as startup, funding, guarantees, export, and research and development. Participating companies can receive all necessary information for business operations at once. Additionally, participants can ask questions and receive consultations at the consultation booths set up at the venue.

Companies interested in exploring overseas markets can also experience export support programs operated by NICE D&B Co., Ltd., an international corporate credit information provider, and Importgenius. The "2024 Geumcheon-gu Small and Medium Enterprise Support Project Guidebook," which contains G Valley SME support policies, will also be distributed. Participation is free of charge.

Applications are being accepted from related organizations in G Valley and SME stakeholders. Applications can be submitted via Google Form or the QR code on the back of the briefing session promotional material by 6 PM on March 4th. Participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, "We organized this briefing session with the hope of helping the business growth and competitiveness enhancement of G Valley SMEs," and added, "We look forward to active participation in this comprehensive briefing session on SME support projects."

For more details, inquiries can be made to the Geumcheon-gu Office Regional Economy Division or the Seoul Business Agency G Valley Activation Team.
