Choi Tae-won, chairman of SK Group, made a surprise visit to the mobile exhibition 'Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024' being held in Spain. He met with Roh Tae-moon, president of Samsung Electronics' MX Division, and discussed the smart ring 'Galaxy Ring.'

On the morning of the 26th (local time), Chairman Choi attended MWC at the Barcelona International Exhibition Center and visited the Samsung Electronics exhibition hall.

When Chairman Choi asked while looking at the Galaxy Ring, "Is it connected to the phone so that you can see it on the screen?" President Roh replied, "It does not have phone call functionality yet. It monitors health, allowing you to check health information, sleep data, and oxygen saturation on your phone."

Chairman Choi then expressed curiosity, asking, "What is the special reason for designing it that way? I have also had a Galaxy Watch before."

President Roh explained, "(The Galaxy Ring) can be worn comfortably for long periods without burden. It is made in a ring form, can be charged, and can be used without recharging for 5 to a maximum of 9 days."
