Bitnine Registers AgensSQL on Kakao and Samsung Cloud Marketplaces

Registered on All Major Domestic Cloud Marketplaces

Database (DB) specialist company Bitnine announced on the 26th that it has registered 'AgensSQL' on the Kakao Cloud and Samsung Cloud Platform (SCP) marketplaces. AgensSQL is an open-source based database management system (DBMS).

Bitnine has completed the registration of AgensSQL on the marketplaces of six major domestic cloud service providers (CSPs), including NHN and Gabia. With the completion of registration on leading domestic CSPs, the company plans to accelerate its efforts to target the DBMS market.

AgensSQL is a relational DBMS based on the open-source PostgreSQL, independently developed by Bitnine. It features cloud service-optimized functions such as technical support tailored to individual company work environments and high Oracle compatibility. It also supports compatibility with data and applications in Oracle environments, allowing users familiar with Oracle to use it easily.

Along with high security performance, it secures the ability and performance to process large-scale data required in enterprise DBMS. Additionally, it provides technical support services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year through a local support system.

A company representative explained, "By completing the registration of AgensSQL on the Kakao Cloud and Samsung Cloud Platform marketplaces, it has become possible to sell the product through major CSPs." He added, "We will actively expand the market by supplying products that enable efficient DB construction and management in cloud environments."
