HCT Signs Second Contract with Lockheed Martin for F-35 Fighter Aircraft Maintenance Support Services

HCT, a leading company in testing certification and calibration business (CEO Heo Bong-jae), announced on the 26th that it has signed a second contract for aircraft maintenance support services with Lockheed Martin, the largest defense contractor in the United States.

The calibration target items for this second contract include 223 ground support equipment items used to ensure the smooth mission performance of the F-35 fighter jet, which is about three times more than the 83 items covered in the first contract (from 2019 to 2023). The contract period will be maintained for five years, from January 2024 to December 2028.

HCT, listed on KOSDAQ in 2016, is an international testing certification and calibration specialist institution boasting the best domestic technology in wireless communication testing certification and antenna calibration services based on 5th generation mobile communication (5G). It also performs environmental reliability and electromagnetic wave testing certification for military supplies using U.S. defense standard specifications and is the Korean calibration partner for major global measurement instrument manufacturers such as NI, FLUKE, KANOMAX, and TEKTRONIX.

Meanwhile, HCT is strengthening its capabilities in the domestic and international defense industry sectors by recently securing a contract for manufacturing military-specialized calibration automation systems and obtaining the U.S. security certification CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) Level 1. In mid-March, it plans to open a Defense Reliability Center capable of providing one-stop testing and certification services for large samples.
