On the 23rd, a post titled "Customers who brought vitamins, I thought they were difficult but they were good customers" was uploaded on an online community. The author, Mr. A, who runs a meat restaurant, said, "(Usually) there are customers who come in groups of four and say they had an early dinner and order only one serving, drinking soju before leaving. Some even ask if they can order just two side dishes of soybean paste stew," he began.

Mr. A explained that a few days ago, five customers including Mr. B visited the restaurant. Mr. B’s group asked Mr. A, "Since we are full, is it okay to order only two servings?" and Mr. A refused, saying, "We ask for a minimum order of three servings." Then Mr. B asked again, "Miss, we can’t eat it all. Do you refund leftovers?" Mr. A said he laughed it off since it was something he often experienced.

The next morning, as Mr. A was about to start business, he found a shopping bag hanging on the door. Inside the bag were a handwritten letter from Mr. B, vitamins, and dried mango. According to the photo attached to Mr. A’s post, Mr. B wrote in handwriting, "I made an unreasonable request the other day, and upon reflection, I feel sorry. Yet you kindly responded, and I am very grateful. I bought these vitamins because they are good for recovery. I hope you take them and gain strength. I am sorry," he wrote.

Mr. A said, "Perhaps after returning home, he told this story to his daughter and was scolded a lot," adding, "In the past, I would lose my temper and firmly say 'That’s absolutely not allowed,' but the other day, I’m glad I just laughed it off." He continued, "Today, I have a reason to work hard again," and concluded, "Kindness never betrays. I hope all self-employed business owners across the country stay strong today."

Netizens who read the story responded with comments such as "The world is still worth living in," "Apologizing takes great courage," "It’s fortunate the owner handled it kindly," and "People who reflect are rare."
