Hyosung to Launch Sales of 'Jije Station Semiconductor Valley Harrington Place' in Pyeongtaek

- 12 Buildings from Basement Level 2 to 29 Floors Above Ground, 1,209 Households
- GTX-A·C Extension Announced, Pyeongtaek Jije Station (SRT·Line 1), Songtan IC, Suwon Departure KTX (Planned)

Hyosung Heavy Industries will officially launch sales of ‘Jije Station Semiconductor Valley Harrington Place’ in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, this March.


The complex consists of a total of 1,209 units with exclusive areas ranging from 84㎡ to 103㎡. It is attracting significant attention from both end-users and investors as the biggest beneficiary complex of the recently announced GTX double station area promotion and the world’s largest semiconductor cluster.

Currently, Pyeongtaek Jije Station, where Line 1 and SRT stop, is scheduled to open the Suwon-origin KTX in 2025. Additionally, with the government recently announcing plans to extend GTX Lines A and C to Jije Station, the area around Jije Station is emerging as the undisputed center of a transportation revolution.


According to the three major innovation strategies in the transportation sector announced by the government on January 25, the government aims to realize a 30-minute commute through the full-scale launch of the metropolitan area GTX era. In particular, the fastest progressing GTX Line A extension from Dongtan to Pyeongtaek Jije Station is being promoted, and GTX Line C, which will extend from Suwon through Osan and Cheonan to Asan, is also scheduled to stop at Jije Station.


Jije Station Semiconductor Valley Harrington Place is gaining attention as a residential complex located about 650 meters in a straight line (based on the East Gate P2 back gate) from the Samsung Electronics Pyeongtaek Campus, which houses the world’s largest semiconductor production lines.


The Pyeongtaek Campus spans a total area of 2.89 million square meters. Currently, semiconductor production lines 1 through 3 are operational, and line 4 is under construction with a target completion date of October 2024. When all six lines are completed by 2030, it is expected to generate a production inducement effect of 550 trillion KRW and create employment for over 1.3 million people. Furthermore, Pyeongtaek City has been designated as a national advanced strategic industry specialized complex, and the government has announced plans to establish it as the world’s largest semiconductor cluster hub together with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.


In addition, the nearby Pyeongtaek Songtan General Industrial Complex and Pyeongtaek Jangdang General Industrial Complex are located nearby, with plans underway for an advanced industrial complex and the KAIST Pyeongtaek Campus.


Jije Station Semiconductor Valley is an urban development project developing approximately 620,000㎡ in the Gajae-dong area of Pyeongtaek City. It plans to accommodate about 4,900 households and a population of 12,700, including three blocks of apartment complexes and land for detached houses. Block 3, where the project site is located, is adjacent to the complex and has planned sites for an elementary school and kindergarten. Commercial facilities, Homeplus, CGV, Ajou University Hospital (planned), and KAIST Pyeongtaek Campus (planned) are easily accessible. The area around the complex is also praised for its pleasant residential environment with Jangancheon Stream and a planned waterfront park.


For Jije Station Semiconductor Valley Harrington Place, anyone aged 19 or older who has been subscribed to a subscription savings account for more than one year and has paid the deposit amount according to the region and area, whether a resident of Pyeongtaek City or nationwide, can apply as a first-priority applicant, including household heads and household members who already own homes. Additionally, resale is possible after six months, and there are no obligations for actual residence or restrictions on re-winning.


The model house for Jije Station Semiconductor Valley Harrington Place is scheduled to open in March.
