The Korea Science Journalists Association (President Yongha Yoo) and the Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers (Director Jinwon Lee) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the 22nd to promote science journalism and raise public awareness of research and development achievements in chemical engineering.

Through this agreement, the two organizations will jointly cooperate in promoting on-site coverage programs for science journalists at research presentations, disseminating and publicizing research and development achievements in the field of chemical engineering, activating mutual exchange and communication between the media and chemical engineering scientists, supporting the hosting and participation in events such as expert recommendations, and providing research and development information, materials, and coverage consultation from chemical engineering experts.
Yongha Yoo, President of the Science Journalists Association, stated, "Taking this agreement as an opportunity, the two organizations plan to actively support science reporters in promptly covering major research presentations in the field of chemical engineering and closely interacting and communicating with expert researchers."
