Discovered a Total of 100 Projects Worth 317.2 Billion KRW
Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, held the ‘2025 National and Provincial Subsidy Project and Public Contest Project Discovery Report Meeting’ in the small conference room of the county office on the 21st, officially starting efforts to secure national and provincial funding.
Presided over by County Governor Kim Yoon-cheol, the meeting was organized to revitalize the local economy and promote sustainable development amid difficult revenue conditions such as a decrease in local allocation tax. The focus was on reporting new core projects and conducting in-depth discussions on the implementation plans for each project.
Hapcheon County is conducting a report meeting to discover national and provincial subsidy projects and public contest projects for the year 2025.
The major projects include ▲ Establishment of Hapcheon Meteor Space ICT Experience Center (46.8 billion KRW) ▲ Construction of the Daejanggyeong Theme Park Sky Garden Project (18 billion KRW) ▲ Development of Hapcheon Film Theme Park 2nd Filming Site Project (17 billion KRW) ▲ Comprehensive Maintenance Project for Yangsan Flood Damage Living Area (25.8 billion KRW) ▲ Promotion of Chogye-myeon Urban Regeneration Public Contest Project (17.5 billion KRW), totaling 100 projects (45 new projects and 55 ongoing projects) worth 317.2 billion KRW.
Governor Kim said, “Please actively discover and promote essential projects with the mindset of fighting a budget securing battle. I will also serve as the vanguard in securing national and provincial funds and devote all my efforts.”
The county plans to supplement the projects presented at the meeting and, starting in March, will actively visit Gyeongnam Province and central government departments to explain the feasibility of the projects. They will also mobilize personal networks including local members of the National Assembly to make every effort to secure national and provincial funding for 2025 and to be selected for various public contest projects.
