[Breaking] 9,275 Residents Submit Resignation Letters... 459 More Than Previous Day, '74.4%'

On the 21st at 10 PM, the Ministry of Health and Welfare announced that 9,275 residents, accounting for 74.4% of the total residents affiliated with 100 major training hospitals, submitted their resignation letters, an increase of 459 from the previous day.


Additionally, the number of residents who left their workplaces reached 8,024, representing 64.4% of the affiliated residents, which is 211 more than the previous day.


During on-site inspections, the Ministry issued work commencement orders to 808 residents who had left their workplaces, excluding 5,230 residents who had already received such orders out of the 6,038 residents confirmed to have left their workplaces.
