Uichang Fire Station in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, announced on the 22nd that it received the Grand Prize in the Changwon Fire Headquarters' '2023 Comprehensive Fire Administration Evaluation.'
The Comprehensive Fire Administration Evaluation was introduced to create citizen-satisfying outcomes through responsible performance-centered organizational management and to enhance administrative efficiency. It ranks organizations by evaluating four areas and applying additional points or deductions.
Uichang Fire Station achieved high scores by excelling in events such as the lecture contest and emergency response training, leading to its selection as the top fire station.
Chief Lee Sang-gi said, "This evaluation result is the fruit of the dedication and efforts of all Uichang Fire Station staff," adding, "We will continue to do our best for the safety of our citizens."
