'Height difference of 190cm'... Unrealistic photo of two people is not manipulated

Height difference between two people reaches 190cm

Two individuals who hold Guinness World Records as the 'tallest man in the world' and the 'shortest woman in the world' respectively gathered in one place. The height difference between them reaches a staggering 190 cm.

The British media outlet Daily Mail recently reported that Sultan K?sen (41) from T?rkiye, the world's tallest man, and Jyoti Amge (30) from India, the world's shortest woman, met on the 19th (local time) in Irvine, California, USA.

Both hold Guinness World Records as the tallest man and shortest woman in the world. K?sen's height is 251 cm, while Amge's height is 61 cm. The height difference between them approaches an astonishing 190 cm.

Although both are adults, when placed in the same space, it creates the illusion of a giant standing next to a child. Amge's head, while standing, does not even reach K?sen's knee when he is seated.

The two previously met once in Egypt in 2018. At that time, they participated in promotional activities to boost Egypt's tourism industry, taking photos and videos with the pyramids in the background, which attracted attention from international netizens.

Born in 1982, K?sen grew normally until the age of 10, but then suffered from a condition called 'acromegaly,' which caused his height to increase rapidly. After surgery in 2008, his growth has stabilized. He once used his great height to play basketball but quit due to frequent injuries and now works in agriculture.

Meanwhile, Amge, born in 1993, suffers from a rare condition called 'primordial dwarfism.' The average height of women with this condition is 122 cm, but Amge stopped growing at 61 cm, about half that height. She was listed in the Guinness World Records as the shortest woman in 2011 and currently lives as an actress.
