1.341 Trillion Won Scale Future Growth Engines, 48 Life-Closely Related Projects Covered
Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Woo Seung-hee) held the "2025 National Treasury and Public Project Discovery Report Meeting" on the 16th to proactively respond to the government's fiscal management policy.
According to the county on the 21st, this second report meeting, following the one held in December last year, was organized to systematically secure funding by supplementing the necessity and feasibility logic of projects before proposing Yeongam-gun's projects to the central government and Jeollanam-do.

At the meeting, a total of 48 projects related to Yeongam-gun's future growth engines and resident-experienced, closely connected national treasury and public projects worth 1.341 trillion KRW were discussed.
Major projects include △ Establishment of Jeonnam Migrant Smart Complex △ Creation of Wolchulsan Ecological Artcation Lounge △ Construction of National Ssireum Training Center △ Construction of National Baduk Stadium △ Attraction of National Yeongsangang Ecological Garden △ Establishment of National Yeongsangang Estuary Management Center △ Construction of Offshore Wind Core Component Bench Test Center △ Attraction of National Marine Fisheries Radiation Disaster Prevention Center △ New Construction of Modernized Rice Processing Complex (RPC) Facilities △ Establishment of Integrated Food Support Center △ Creation of Rural Convergence Industry Zone △ Development of Infrastructure for the First Bucheogil Trail Under the Sky △ Comprehensive Maintenance of Living Area Pedestrian Environment △ Installation of Daebul Sewage Sludge Drying Facility, etc.
A county official stated, “We will continuously monitor the central government's fiscal management policies and trends and promptly carry out preliminary procedures such as site acquisition, preliminary feasibility studies, and investment reviews related to the projects. Through additional report meetings, we will continuously check the progress and enhance the completeness of project plans to ensure that many pending projects are reflected in the 2025 government budget proposal.”
