Launch of Prepaid Recharge Card with Account Linking in Collaboration with BC Card
Offering Various Benefits Including Cashback
SPC Group's IT and marketing solutions subsidiary, Sectanain, announced on the 21st that it has launched the prepaid recharge card 'Happy Pay Card' in collaboration with BC Card.
The Happy Pay Card allows customers to use amounts charged from their bank accounts or accumulated as benefits. It can be used not only at SPC affiliate brand stores such as Paris Baguette, Baskin Robbins, and Dunkin, but also at all online and offline stores where card payments are accepted. As a prepaid recharge card, users can charge only the amount they need, enabling planned spending, and the company explained that income deduction benefits are available just like with a debit card. The charged amount can be withdrawn to the linked account, but amounts given as benefits cannot be withdrawn.
The Happy Pay Card can be applied for through the Happy Point application (Happy App) and can be linked to any commercial bank account. Even before receiving the physical card, users can immediately register and use Happy Pay as well as simple payment services such as BC Card Paybook, Naver Pay, Kakao Pay, and Toss Pay. There are no sign-up or annual fees, and anyone aged 17 or older can apply.
To commemorate the launch of the Happy Pay Card, Sectanain will provide 3,000 KRW to all subscribers until the 31st of next month, and will gift AirPods Max to the first five customers who have the last four digits of their card number matching the launch date (0219). Additionally, among five physical card designs, a preference vote will be held, and customers who vote for the most popular card will share a prize of 10 million KRW in an event.
