Creative Ideas Related to Policies of the 8th Minseon Administration with a Free Theme for the Contest

Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it will hold the ‘2024 First Half Idea Proposal Contest’ to discover creative policies and improve administrative services for residents.

This contest was prepared to discover policy proposals for the introduction and improvement of innovative and creative work and to communicate with residents.

The contest theme is open, focusing on creative ideas related to the 8th term of the elected government’s policies.

Residents who wish to participate can submit proposals via ▲mobile text message ▲KakaoTalk channel ‘Tonghaera Eunpyeong’ ▲People’s Petition ‘General Proposal’ ▲Eunpyeong-gu Office website ‘Idea Plaza’, etc. However, proposals that are merely for raising awareness, complaints, criticism, suggestions, or expressions of dissatisfaction, those related to profit-making businesses and promotions of specific individuals, groups, or companies, or matters not related to local government affairs will be excluded from consideration.

Proposals submitted by June 30 will receive a review response from the relevant department within 30 days. After evaluation by the Eunpyeong-gu Proposal Review Committee, the results of the proposal adoption are planned to be announced around August.

In particular, six selected proposers will be awarded prizes separately: one grand prize winner will receive 1,000,000 KRW, two excellence award winners will receive 500,000 KRW each, and three encouragement award winners will receive 300,000 KRW each.

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, “We will strive to create an innovative city of Eunpyeong by discovering diverse and novel ideas,” and added, “We hope for the active interest and participation of all residents.”
