Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Signs 'Business Agreement' with Jeonnam Tourism Foundation for Tourism Promotion on the 20th

The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization has joined hands with the Jeonnam Tourism Foundation to revitalize the tourism industry and expand the attraction of domestic and international tourists.


On the 20th, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced that it signed a business agreement on cooperation for tourism revitalization with the Foundation at the Jeonnam Tourism Foundation meeting room located in Muan, Jeollanam-do.


According to the agreement between the two organizations, they will closely cooperate in areas such as ▲joint promotion to attract tourists linked to mega events ▲domestic and international joint promotional marketing to revitalize tourism in both regions ▲joint course development reflecting new tourism demands ▲sustainable development of the tourism industry and strengthening crisis response.

In particular, the two organizations will prioritize various cooperative projects such as jointly promoting local sales and promotions targeting major overseas markets including China, Japan, and Southeast Asia, developing new tourism products linked to the West Coast and attracting tourists, and promoting tourism using influencers targeting the MZ generation.


Jo Wonyong, President of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, emphasized, "In a period when tourism trends and demands are diversifying after the endemic, by combining the excellent tourism resources of Gyeonggi and Jeonnam connected to the West Coast and jointly promoting them, we expect to create synergy effects that will lead to the launch of various new tourism products and the revitalization of attracting high-value tourists."


Kim Youngshin, CEO of the Jeonnam Tourism Foundation, said, "We hope this business agreement will lead to a continuous cooperative relationship for tourism revitalization," adding, "We will strive to ensure that tourism in Jeollanam-do and Gyeonggi-do can mutually develop through close cooperation in the future."
