Events and Tours for Local Residents and Others...
The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education Student Marine Training Center (Director Park Young-seok) utilized the winter non-training period for students to operate a total of 8 marine safety experience sessions over 3 days from the 18th to the 20th, targeting parents, local residents, school administrators, faculty, education professionals, and general staff.
According to the Jeonbuk Office of Education on the 20th, this marine safety experience event was planned as part of a project to promote the Student Marine Training Center and was conducted through marine safety experience activities and facility tours.

The Marine Safety Experience Center was expanded last year when Director Park Young-seok established an additional budget of over 500 million won to remodel educational spaces such as the wheelhouse as part of students' career experience, thereby enhancing the venue for students' marine safety experiences.
The participants in this experience event engaged in various marine safety activities including marine vessel escape, cabin fire response, cabin evacuation, and bus fall escape drills.
Director Park Young-seok stated, "We have revamped the program to transform the training center into an institution focused on character education, not merely a training facility for students' physical development," and added, "We will do our utmost to ensure that benefits reach the residents, including students, parents, and education stakeholders, in line with the Office of Education's top 10 core tasks."
