Gyeongnam Nonghyup Signs Sisterhood Agreement with Naval Logistics Command

Gyeongnam Nonghyup and the Naval Logistics Command signed a sisterhood agreement to revitalize exchanges between the two organizations and promote regional economic development, and discussed future development directions on the 20th.

The sisterhood event held at the Naval Logistics Command located in Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam, was attended by about 20 people, including Commander Ahn Sang-min and other unit officials, Jo Geun-su, head of Gyeongnam Nonghyup headquarters, and Jo Cheong-rae, head of NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeongnam headquarters.

The two organizations promised to strive for strengthening civil-military ties and regional economic development through collaboration, including ▲support for financial education and asset management consulting ▲participation in and promotion of the Hometown Love Donation Program ▲civilian support during farming seasons and in case of disasters.

Commander Ahn said, “I deeply appreciate the sisterhood agreement with Gyeongnam Nonghyup, which has shown great interest and support for the soldiers of the Naval Logistics Command,” and added, “We will work for the development of the local community and look forward to active and vigorous exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.”

Head Jo said, “We are very pleased that the Naval Logistics Command and Gyeongnam Nonghyup have come together for the development of the region and agriculture and rural areas,” and added, “We hope this agreement will serve as an opportunity for the two organizations to cooperate and contribute to strengthening the local community and national security.”

The event also included a ceremony for the delivery of 10 million won in encouragement funds to soldiers for the Lunar New Year holiday.
