The Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA) announced on the 20th that it has received an 'Excellent' rating for two consecutive years in the 2023 Data-Driven Administration Status Inspection Evaluation conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The Data-Driven Administration Status Inspection Evaluation was conducted on a total of 464 organizations, including central administrative agencies, local governments, public institutions, and local public enterprises. It evaluates four areas: management system, shared utilization, data analysis, and competency culture.
TIPA has made multifaceted efforts such as ▲establishing a data-driven administration management system ▲discovering shared utilization data to eliminate data silos between administrative and public institutions ▲promoting data utilization competency enhancement training for all employees.
TIPA was recognized for its achievements in internalizing data-driven administration with excellent scores in this evaluation and received the highest rating of 'Excellent' within the group of 130 public institutions nationwide.
Director Kim Young-shin stated, “As the pace of digital transformation accelerates, it is a time when data literacy that discovers meaningful value, not just simple statistical data utilization, becomes very important in public institutions,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen efforts to promote data-driven administration to improve both the efficiency and qualitative performance of the agency’s work.”
