BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) held a sponsorship delivery ceremony for the new semester support project "Walking to School Together" on the afternoon of the 19th at Busan Nam-gu Office, together with Nam-gu Office and the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.
BNK Busan Bank, which has been supporting the 2024 New Semester Support Project 'Walking to School Together' for 16 years.
"Walking to School Together" is a project by the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation that supports educational condition improvements by providing school supplies, digital learning devices, and more to vulnerable local students at the start of each new semester. Busan Bank has continued its sponsorship for 16 years since 2009.
Through this delivery ceremony, Busan Bank will provide a total of 10 million KRW to cover new semester preparation expenses for 25 vulnerable students entering elementary, middle, and high schools located in Nam-gu.
Moon Jeong-won, Head of the Eastern Sales Headquarters at Busan Bank, said, “We are pleased that Busan Bank can participate in this meaningful project for students,” and added, “We will discover and promote practical educational support projects so that children can overcome educational gaps caused by economic reasons.”
