Harman JBL Launches First 'Gonggi Jeondo' True Wireless Earbuds

Direct Sound Transmission to Cochlea via Sound Gear Sense
Air Conduction

Samsung Electronics' automotive electronics subsidiary Harman JBL announced on the 20th that it will launch the bone conduction true wireless earphones 'Soundgear Sense.' This is the first time JBL has made bone conduction earphones.

The JBL Soundgear Sense features an 'air conduction' open-ear earphone design that delivers sound waves directly to the cochlea. It provides high-quality sound without blocking surrounding noise. It also protects privacy by preventing people near the listener from hearing the audio.

Each earbud is equipped with a 16.2mm dynamic driver with a bass enhancement algorithm. This results in powerful bass and clear treble.

It offers two styles: a comfortable all-day 'earhook' type and a detachable 'neckband' type. This is a hybrid design. As a result, it received an award at the Red Dot Design Award 2023.

The earphones have a battery that lasts up to 24 hours on a full charge. Fast charging is also supported. A 15-minute charge provides about 4 hours of use. It features IP54-rated water and dust resistance certified by the international standard (IEC), allowing safe use even with sweat, light rain, or dust.

With multipoint connection functionality, it can connect to two devices simultaneously and switch between them. The dedicated application allows customization of earbud touch controls, EQ, and listening modes.

The JBL Soundgear Sense is available for purchase through Samsung.com and major online malls. The retail price is 199,000 KRW.

To celebrate the launch of Soundgear Sense, JBL will hold a shopping live event on Naver Store, offering various benefits such as notification coupons, discounts, and reward points.
