Recruitment of Cheongkkeul Companies until March 8, Selection of Youth-Preferred Companies... Customized Consulting
Nation's First Selection of 3 Outstanding Youth Employment Companies among 100 Cheongkkeul Companies
Busan City is recruiting companies to participate in the ‘Cheongkkeul (Youth-Attractive) Company Discovery and Matching Support Project’ aimed at creating high-quality jobs that meet the expectations of young people, until March 8.
This project is designed to discover companies preferred by youth based on wages, income, employment stability, work-life balance, etc., and actively support matching with young talent. It aims to improve young people’s perception of local companies, expand the influx of young talent, and alleviate the mismatch between companies and youth employment.
Based on a preliminary survey on the criteria for good jobs as perceived by local youth, the city selected 80 companies last year for a pilot project, and this year will officially select 100 companies to promote the project.
The recruitment target is companies located in Busan (both headquarters and main business sites), operating normally for more than three years (business registration before January 1, 2021), and having 10 or more employees as of December 31, 2023.
The city provides various customized consulting services to selected Cheongkkeul companies, including ▲promotion and marketing ▲operation of dedicated Cheongkkeul managers ▲company-university visiting briefings ▲company-youth job fairs ▲and onboarding programs to help employees adapt.
In particular, based on the youth employment excellent company certification (3 companies) and tax reduction benefits, which were first established nationwide in February, the project offers tangible benefits such as tax reductions for youth employment excellent companies.
Among the 100 Cheongkkeul companies selected this time, three will be chosen as ‘Youth Employment Excellent Companies’ in the second half of this year.
They will receive various incentives including ▲40 million KRW for improving good workplace environments ▲exemption from acquisition tax on newly acquired business real estate ▲designation as excellent companies in the Busan area ▲and reduction of credit guarantee fees.
Applications can be submitted by downloading the application form from the Busan Job Information Network website and sending it via email.
For more details, inquiries can be made to the Busan Economic Promotion Agency’s Youth Do Dream Center.
Nam Jeong-eun, the city’s Youth Industry-Academic Policy Officer, said, “Through this project, we will actively discover and support excellent companies desired by youth to help them settle stably in Busan. We hope that many local excellent companies will show interest and participate in this ‘Youth Employment Excellent Company Certification System,’ which will serve as a representative case leading to the spread of job creation and employment expansion.”
