Operation of 'Preliminary Review System for Cadastral Confirmation Survey' to Ensure Efficient Land Development Projects and Protect Residents' Property Rights

Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Soo-hee) announced that it will operate the "Preliminary Review System for Cadastral Confirmation Survey" to ensure efficient land development projects and protect residents' property rights.

The "Cadastral Confirmation Survey" refers to the survey conducted to newly determine land boundaries, lot numbers, land categories, and areas upon the completion of land development projects (such as housing construction projects and site development projects).

Until now, during the inspection of cadastral confirmation survey results conducted before project completion, if construction was carried out differently from the project plan, re-construction or project plan changes were required, causing various issues such as project delays and additional construction costs.

To resolve these issues, the district will implement the "Preliminary Review System for Cadastral Confirmation Survey," where the responsible officials will visit the project site and conduct legal reviews before the cadastral confirmation survey to help prevent problems that may arise at the time of project completion.

Applications can be made by the project implementer or cadastral surveyor by visiting the Real Estate Information Division of Gangdong-gu Office or sending an email when submitting the prior consultation for urban development project approval and the cadastral survey execution plan.

Mayor Lee Soo-hee of Gangdong-gu said, "We will actively support the smooth progress of land development projects through the operation of the 'Preliminary Review System for Cadastral Confirmation Survey' and do our best to protect the property rights of project implementers and residents by setting project district boundaries quickly and accurately."

Gangdong-gu plans to promote the "Preliminary Review System for Cadastral Confirmation Survey" to approval departments and project implementers from the project approval stage to encourage applications.
