The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is recruiting 30 participants for the 1st and 2nd sessions among unemployed residents of Gyeonggi-do aged between 40 and 64 through the Jobaba Apply app (https://apply.jobaba.net) until the 18th of next month.
Applicants for the Opportunity Instructor Training Course can apply by preparing a lecture plan on topics that anyone, regardless of age or gender, can learn and relate to, such as life planning, health, digital skills, culture, hobbies, and general knowledge.
The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation will select participants through document screening and interviews based on submitted applications and lecture plans, with decisions made in March. Participants will receive both in-person and online training starting in April at the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Northern Business Headquarters (located in Uijeongbu City).
The training course includes ▲ life career planning theory ▲ lecture competency enhancement training ▲ lesson plan creation and preparation methods ▲ support for external instructor activities.
The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation provides opportunities for graduates to lecture at local welfare centers, military units, public institutions, and supports lecture fees.
Additionally, those selected as outstanding instructors will receive priority support for external lecture connections and will be featured in a future publication introducing middle-aged instructors by the foundation.
Nam Un-seon, head of the Northern Business Headquarters of the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "This program has been newly prepared to help middle-aged adults leverage their rich careers and experiences to open a new chapter in their lives."
Meanwhile, this year’s Opportunity University Opportunity Instructor Training Course will select 15 students per session for the 1st and 2nd sessions. The 2nd session will begin in May.
