The People Power Party's Nomination Management Committee on the 19th exclusively nominated incumbent lawmaker Kang Ki-yoon as the candidate for Changwon Seongsan, Gyeongnam, in the 22nd National Assembly election.

With the Nomination Committee selecting Kang as the candidate for Seongsan District, Kang will be challenging for a third term in his current constituency.
