Two Members Including the Korean Medical Association Emergency Committee Chair Receive Prior Notice of License Suspension Administrative Action

The government has issued prior administrative suspension notices to Kim Taek-woo, Chairman of the Emergency Response Committee of the Korean Medical Association, and Park Myung-ha, Chairman of the Organizing Committee. Chairman Kim is also the President of the Gangwon Provincial Medical Association, and Chairman Park is the President of the Seoul Medical Association.

According to the medical community on the 19th, they have become subjects of administrative action for violating the 'Order Prohibiting Incitement of Collective Action' by doctors. The Ministry of Health and Welfare plans to impose license suspension if, after hearing the parties' opinions, it is concluded that they violated the order prohibiting incitement of collective action.
