The Most Among Communication Researchers Under Their 40s
Professor Lee Jeong-gi of Dongmyung University (Department of Advertising and Public Relations) recorded a total of 1,564 citations in the Korean Citation Index (KCI) of the National Research Foundation of Korea.
The researcher's H-index (Hirsch Index), which evaluates research performance, reached 24 this year. This means that Professor Lee's domestic papers have been cited 1,564 times in other papers, and 24 of his papers have been cited at least 24 times each.
Professor Lee, who conducts research on freedom of expression, human rights, media effects, and educational communication, had an H-index of 22 in 2022, ranking 7th among all researchers who published papers in academic journals in the field of journalism and broadcasting, including advertising and public relations and media communication studies.
Since entering the doctoral program in the second half of 2009, Professor Lee Jeong-gi has produced 156 academic achievements over 14 years, including 129 papers in journals such as KCI, SCI, SSCI, and SCOPUS, and 27 academic books.
He ranks first among communication researchers under 40 nationwide in terms of number of papers and books, citation count, and H-index.
