Gwangju Dong-gu Completes 'Startup School' to Strengthen Prospective Entrepreneurs' Capabilities

Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 19th that it has successfully completed the 'Dong-gu Startup School' to strengthen the professional capabilities of prospective entrepreneurs in preparation for this year's startup support projects.

The lectures, held from the 14th to the 17th, consisted of essential courses for the successful startup of prospective entrepreneurs, including an introduction to this year's startup support projects and guidance on the application process, exploration of entrepreneurship and business strategy formulation, methods for discovering latent ideas, and sharing success know-how from experienced entrepreneurs.


Dong-gu scheduled the lectures on weekday evenings and weekend afternoons to allow more prospective entrepreneurs to participate, filling all 20 expected spots and concluding the education with favorable reviews.


Building on this, Dong-gu plans to create a unique successful startup ecosystem by enhancing the capabilities of prospective entrepreneurs through courses such as ▲ labor dispute resolution and marketing (April) ▲ business plan writing and profitable intellectual property rights (July) ▲ financial statement reading and investment attraction document preparation (September).


A Dong-gu official stated, "We hope that many who took the Startup School courses will be selected in the support project applications and be able to realize their dreams," adding, "We will become a reliable partner in startups by providing multifaceted comprehensive services through the Startup Support Center."
