Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, is making thorough preparations for the ‘2024 Uljin Snow Crab and Red Snow Crab Festival’ to be held for four days from the 22nd to the 25th around Hupo Port.

Fun! Delicious! Enjoyable! This year, the Uljin Snow Crab and Red Snow Crab Festival will be held.

The ‘2024 Uljin Snow Crab and Red Snow Crab Festival’ is Uljin-gun’s representative winter festival where visitors can enjoy and taste Uljin’s premium snow crabs and red snow crabs through various programs, attracting many participants every year.

In particular, this year’s festival plans to create an event where visitors can participate and enjoy various events promoting snow crabs.

Through recreational programs such as ‘War with the Snow Crab Thief,’ where winners receive snow crabs as gifts, the snow crab eating contest ‘Get into My Mouth Quickly,’ and the snow crab trivia quiz for spectators ‘How Many Grams When Steamed?,’ visitors can enjoy Uljin snow crabs and red snow crabs in a unique way.

Additionally, there are opportunities to purchase snow crabs at discounted prices through guerrilla-style ‘Snow Crab Discount Events,’ the ‘Snow Crab Auction Experience’ where crabs can be bought cheaper than market price, and ‘Sea Treasure Catching,’ where visitors can catch Uljin’s seafood including snow crabs with their own hands.

Other special programs exclusive to the ‘2024 Uljin Snow Crab and Red Snow Crab Festival’ include ‘Free Yacht Boarding Experience,’ ‘Cultural Concert,’ ‘Crab Sauce Bibimbap Making Performance,’ and ‘Snow Crab Flash Mob,’ as well as traditional Uljin programs such as ‘Wolsong Big Tug-of-War’ and ‘Crab Line Tug-of-War.’
