Professor Park Chaemin of Dong-Eui Science University Awarded Commendation by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) participated in the '2024 Early Employment Contract Department Performance Exchange and Excellence Award Ceremony' held on the 15th at the Novotel Grand Ballroom in Yongsan, Seoul, where Professor Park Chae-min of the Smart Food Cooking Department received a commendation from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education in both the contract department system and general operation categories.

Professor Park, as the head professor of the Early Employment Contract Department's Smart Food Cooking Department at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, was highly recognized for contributing to the activation of the project through discovering industries, forming consultative bodies, developing and operating degree and non-degree educational programs, and developing VR and video teaching materials.

In particular, Professor Park made efforts to establish a virtuous cycle structure for the supply and demand of manpower in the industrial sector by signing business agreements and building networks with companies and local community institutions related to the department's projects.

Professor Park Chae-min of the Smart Food Cooking Department said, “I am grateful to all the members who worked hard to revitalize industry-academia cooperation,” adding, “I consider this commendation as a representative of the Early Employment Contract Department, and I will continue to do my best to nurture talent and serve as a close link in industry-academia cooperation among students, companies, and the university.”

The Early Employment Contract Department project guarantees employment upon admission, achieving a 100% employment rate for all students, including graduates and first-year students of the early employment contract departments. Strong local mid-sized companies such as Pellia, Hwamyoo ITC, Ecomine, IProduct, International Food, and Kangho Food are actively participating.
