One in Three Orders Requests Use of Recycled Packaging Materials

Oasis Market, a dawn delivery specialist company, announced on the 19th that it has resumed its 'Packaging Material Collection Service.'

The packaging material collection service allows customers in areas where dawn delivery is available to place previously received packaging materials in front of their door, which are then collected when the next order is delivered.

To use the packaging material collection service, customers simply select 'Use recycled packaging materials' and 'Request packaging material collection' when placing an order. After removing foreign substances, invoices, and tape, customers leave the packaging in front of their home, and Oasis Market collects, sorts, and either reuses the packaging or disposes of it separately.

Oasis Market first introduced the packaging material collection service in 2018 when it launched its dawn delivery service, becoming the first in the industry to do so. The service was temporarily suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was reintroduced in December last year, and as of the first week of this month, orders requesting the use of recycled packaging materials have surpassed 30% of total orders. Oasis Market explains that this reflects active participation from customers who pursue eco-friendly values.

Oasis Market stated, "Through the packaging material collection service, we have once again confirmed that our customers have a strong interest in eco-friendly delivery," adding, "We will continue to introduce various services to create a sustainable distribution environment."

Meanwhile, in addition to the packaging material collection service, Oasis Market also offers a 'Combined Delivery Service' that packs all products into one box, and a 'Premium Packaging Service' that minimizes packaging materials such as air caps and various plastics.
