Ultra-premium Built-in Appliances 'Signature Kitchen Suite'
Participates in 'KBIS 2024'... Ryu Jae-cheol "Built-in, Key Pillar of B2B"
LG Electronics will participate in North America's largest kitchen and bathroom exhibition to unveil a new lineup of its ultra-premium built-in appliances, the 'Signature Kitchen Suite.' Built-in appliances have high market entry barriers but offer high added value, prompting LG Electronics to accelerate its expansion in North America and Europe.
LG Electronics announced on the 19th that it will participate in 'KBIS (The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show) 2024,' held from the 27th to 29th (local time) in Las Vegas, USA. Interior experts, kitchen designers, architects, and other global built-in appliance customers visit KBIS annually.
The new Signature Kitchen Suite lineup showcased at this exhibition is made with a matte stainless steel finish. Matte stainless steel is applied to the exteriors of various built-in appliances, including French door refrigerators, column refrigerators, column wine cellars, ovens, and dishwashers.
LG Electronics said it has newly applied 'Gourmet AI' technology to the Signature Kitchen Suite oven lineup. An internal oven camera identifies ingredients and then recommends various customized recipes on the display. Customers can monitor the cooking process inside the oven in real-time and capture videos or photos through the LG ThinQ app. ThinQ is LG Electronics' smart home platform. Customers can choose from single wall ovens, double wall ovens, and combi wall ovens.

The new oven products belong to the 'ThinQ Up' lineup, which allows adding new features via the LG ThinQ app. ThinQ Up is LG UP appliance's overseas brand. UP appliances are LG home appliances that can add various new features through the app even after purchase. The 'ThinQ Care' service, which manages products via the ThinQ app, is also available. This service uses AI to analyze the appliance's operating status and notifies users of potential malfunctions or risks.
LG Electronics will exhibit customized built-in appliances where customers can select door panels according to their preferences and interior design. When purchasing Signature Kitchen Suite products such as French door refrigerators, wine cellars, and dishwashers, customers can choose door panels made of stainless steel or furniture finishes.
Ryu Jae-chul, President of LG Electronics' H&A (Home Appliance) Business Division, said, "The built-in market plays a crucial role in our B2B (business-to-business) operations. We will continuously enhance LG Electronics' status by emphasizing the differentiated value of the ultra-premium Signature Kitchen Suite."
