A man caused a disturbance after demanding an extra bag of walnut cookies as a free service at a bakery and being refused.

According to JTBC's 'Incident Room' on the 16th, informant A, who runs a bakery in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, revealed a video of the incident, saying, "The customer caused a disturbance after we refused an unreasonable service request."

On the 15th, a couple visited the store and ordered a 6,000 won bag of walnut cookies. The man then requested an additional bag as a free service, saying he wanted to give it to the woman who came with him.

When bakery employee B refused, the man shouted, "I'm a regular here," and threw the bag of walnut cookies. He pushed the employee and even made a move to assault with a cane, starting to cause a disturbance.

When the flustered employee apologized and offered to provide the service, the man got angry again, saying, "Do I look like a beggar?"

After hearing about the situation, A reported the man to the police. Upon investigation, it was found that contrary to his claim of being a regular, the man had only visited the store about five times in the past two years.

A said, "He often demanded free service, so sometimes we gave him one or told him there was nothing left. The employee even apologized to me. That was more upsetting."

Meanwhile, in August last year, a resident in an apartment in Jongno-gu, Seoul, was fined after causing a disturbance by ordering a security guard to pull weeds from a flower bed and yelling, "Why aren't you doing what I told you?" when the guard did not comply. The resident also tried to hit the guard by thrusting a cane through the security office window.

A resident representative who rushed to help the security guard was also hit by the cane while trying to stop the threat.

Judge Lee Jong-min of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 3 issued a summary order fining resident B 1.5 million won for these charges. However, B appealed the decision and requested a formal trial. In the first trial, B was fined 1 million won but appealed again.
