Lim Tae-hee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, is delivering a congratulatory speech at the "Legislative Policy Forum on Future Education Dreamed through Edutech, Changing Classrooms," held at the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly on the 16th.
Lim Tae-hee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, emphasized that education utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and edutech platforms is the direction Gyeonggi education should take.
On the 16th, Superintendent Lim attended the "Legislative Policy Forum on Future Education Dreamed Through Edutech, Changing Classrooms," held in the medium conference room of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council in Yeongtong, Suwon, and explained, "Education using artificial intelligence and classes utilizing edutech platforms are essential directions for Gyeonggi education to advance toward future education."
He continued, "The Provincial Office of Education is striving to complete the distribution of one smart device per student in the first half of this year to enhance students' edutech utilization capabilities," and introduced, "We are strengthening a future-oriented teaching and learning system by actively utilizing the AI teaching and learning platform ‘Hi-Learning’ in classes."
The forum was hosted by Lee Hak-soo, Vice Chairman of the Education Planning Committee of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council (People Power Party), to discuss the direction of future education in Gyeonggi Province based on edutech and the legislative policies necessary to provide new educational values.
