On the 15th, a post titled "Witnessed a cursing private ambulance" was uploaded to an online community. The author, Mr. A, who claimed to have witnessed the ambulance at a busy morning commute intersection, began by saying, "During a left turn on the way to work, suddenly a siren sounded, and I was trying to find where the ambulance was coming from to yield, but it suddenly cut in from an angle blocked by the car in front and started cursing other drivers through the speaker."

In the video posted by Mr. A, cars waiting at a traffic light at the intersection all make a left turn once the signal changes, including Mr. A’s vehicle and others. Suddenly, a private ambulance cuts in front of the car ahead of Mr. A. Startled, Mr. A and the car in front stop, and the ambulance driver uses the speaker to shout, "Yield, you f***ers. Damn it." Mr. A expressed his feelings at the time, saying, "In all my life, I have never seen such a thug-like ambulance."

The post became a major topic, surpassing 47,660 views as of 1 p.m. on the 16th. The ambulance driver, Mr. B, who was behind the wheel at the time, wrote a lengthy apology. Mr. B said, "I recognize and regret my mistake in cursing. I was transporting a patient for outpatient treatment when the accompanying medical staff suddenly said the patient’s condition worsened and asked to go to the emergency room quickly. I thought I had to get there fast," and explained, "Since the cars didn’t yield as I expected, I inadvertently cursed." He added, "No matter how urgent the patient’s condition is, I will be careful to prevent this from happening again," and apologized, saying, "If I must be punished for this, I will accept it willingly. I am truly sorry."

In response to Mr. B’s apology, Mr. A said, "I am dumbfounded and speechless. Do you think some people don’t curse because they don’t know how? The behavior you showed today damages the image of other ambulances as well. If you suddenly turn on the siren and rush into an intersection, what happens to the vehicles that received the signal and were driving normally?" Mr. B replied, "I think I was too focused on my own position and didn’t consider others. I am truly reflecting deeply," and apologized again.

Netizens who read the story reacted with comments such as, "Report the signal violation through the Smart National Report system," "No matter how urgent, cursing is unacceptable," and "Something should be done about this. Children must have heard it, and it’s bad for their emotional well-being."

On the other hand, some netizens responded, "I think cursing can happen if it’s really urgent," and "If a patient’s life is on the line in the ambulance, I would probably do the same."
