Solgo Biomedical (CEO Kim Il) subsidiary RM Life Science announced on the 16th that it signed a $1.6 million supply contract over three years for the Liquid Based Cytology System (LBC) with Saudi Arabian medical device supplier Rising Future Company at Medlab Middle East 2024.
Medlab 2024, held under the slogan "Together for a Healthier World," took place over four days from the 5th at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates. This event is the world's largest diagnostic and medical device exhibition, bringing together numerous companies and global experts to network and showcase innovative technologies.
Rising Future Company, which signed the supply contract, is headquartered in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The company is a medical service innovation firm that supplies various medical equipment and supplies to major medical institutions, government, and private sectors throughout the region, establishing a solid business network.
Meanwhile, RM Life Science launched the cancer diagnostic liquid-based cytology smear device "SmartPrep" at the Korean Society of Pathologists in November last year. This device uses optimized programs for different states of liquid-based cytology, dramatically improving sample processing speed compared to existing domestic and international products. The product is compatible with RM Life Science's existing consumable mechanisms, providing significantly faster processing speed along with excellent performance and convenience.
A company representative stated, "We plan to enter the U.S. market in cooperation with Solgo USA in the future," adding, "Starting with this contract, we will continuously showcase our products at global exhibitions to accelerate our efforts to penetrate overseas markets."
