Recharge on Expressway Toll App After Receiving Card
Emart24 Offers Discounted Hi-Pass Devices for Sale
Convenience store Emart24 announced that starting from the 16th, it will distribute the "Hi-Pass Prepaid Recharge Card" issued by the Korea Expressway Corporation free of charge.
To expand the distribution of Hi-Pass cards, the Korea Expressway Corporation will provide the cards, which were previously sold for 5,000 KRW at convenience stores and rest areas, for free in collaboration with Emart24.
Customers can visit Emart24 stores, request a Hi-Pass prepaid recharge card, leave their contact information, and receive the card immediately. A message explaining the prepaid card charging method will be sent to the contact number provided, and customers can charge and use the card in order.
To charge the Hi-Pass card, customers must first sign up on the "Expressway Toll" app. Then, they can register the card number received at the store in the "EX-Mobile Card" menu. Card charging can be done either by an automatic recharge method, where a set amount is automatically transferred from the account when the balance falls below a certain level, or by a manual recharge method, where the amount is transferred as needed.
Emart24 and the Korea Expressway Corporation expect positive responses from customers as they distribute the Hi-Pass cards free of charge ahead of March, when outings increase significantly.
Additionally, Emart24 will promote a traffic safety campaign nationwide through Emart24 convenience store POS systems in partnership with the Korea Expressway Corporation. Information about the distribution of prepaid Hi-Pass cards will also be displayed on over 1,700 expressway electronic billboards nationwide.
An Emart24 representative said, "Emart24 has decided to support the Korea Expressway Corporation's 'National Hi-Pass Card Free Distribution Project' to expand the distribution of Hi-Pass cards. As Hi-Pass cards have become an essential item for drivers, we expect great customer response to this project that provides the cards free of charge through Emart24 stores, which have high accessibility."
Meanwhile, from the 1st to the 25th of next month, Emart24 will offer discounts on vehicle products such as Hi-Pass terminals for customers using the Hi-Pass prepaid card. The products include ▲ three types of Hyundai Mobis Hi-Pass terminals (RF, IR, solar-powered) ▲ three types of Hyundai Mobis 'Auror' vehicle care kits ▲ FineVu 3-channel black box (SF2000), among others. Customers wishing to purchase vehicle products can pay by barcode at Emart24 stores and receive free delivery to their desired location, and free on-site installation service is provided for black boxes.
