Support for the Second Act of Life for the 5060 Generation
Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it is recruiting participants for the ‘2024 Senior Career-Type Job Project’ until the 23rd.
This project is a public contest aimed at supporting reemployment of retired middle-aged individuals with experience and expertise, and providing opportunities to contribute to the development of the local community. It is conducted with a total project budget of 245 million KRW, receiving 158 million KRW in support (122 million KRW from the national government and 36 million KRW from the provincial government).
The recruitment is for 5 people each in two fields: ▲ planning forest welfare-related programs, facility operation, and forest experience support ▲ providing customized health and welfare services for vulnerable groups.
Applicants must be seniors aged 50 to under 65 (born between 1959 and 1974) residing in Boseong-gun as of 14 days from the announcement date. They must have at least 3 years of experience in the forest or health-related fields or possess certifications or recognized qualifications required in those fields.
The working period is year-round from March to December. Those wishing to apply should submit an application form and supporting documents to the Population Policy Division of Boseong-gun Office by February 23.
A Boseong-gun official stated, “We will strive to create various jobs that utilize the experience and expertise of seniors so that the 50s and 60s generation do not remain retirees, and continuously seek opportunities for income generation.”
Meanwhile, last year, Boseong-gun provided new jobs to 13 seniors through ▲ planning forest welfare-related programs, facility operation, and forest experience support ▲ the ‘Visiting Happiness Care Coordinator Project’ for child welfare facilities.
