Wonja Korean Medicine Clinic Donates 2 Million Won in Neighborly Aid to Haman County

Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 15th that Wonja Korean Medicine Clinic donated 2 million won to help neighbors in need.


At the donation ceremony, Haman County Governor Jo Geun-je, Wonja Korean Medicine Clinic Director Kim Jeong-uk, and other related personnel attended. The donated funds will be used to support medical expenses and living costs for low-income and crisis households through the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea.

Director Kim Jeong-uk said, “After moving to and settling in Haman, I received a lot of help from neighbors in many ways,” adding, “I wanted to share my gratitude by donating to help neighbors in need, even if just a little.”


In response, Governor Jo Geun-je said, “If we cherish and care for each other like family, we can create a society where everyone is happy,” and added, “The donated funds will be delivered to the places where they are most needed so that neighbors in difficulty can spend the winter in good health.”


Located in Masanhoewon-gu, Changwon City, Wonja Korean Medicine Clinic is a hospital providing Korean medicine-related treatments such as internal medicine, gynecology, rehabilitation medicine, and acupuncture.


Following last year, this year as well, the clinic has donated funds to help neighbors in need within the county, greatly contributing to the spread of a warm culture of donation for a society of coexistence.
