Chosun University, Paul & Mark, and Desker Sign MOU for Startup Support and Development

Chosun University recently joined hands with education consulting company Paul & Mark and work and lifestyle furniture brand Desker through a business agreement to foster global talent development and nurture the startup ecosystem.

The signing ceremony was attended by Chosun University President Kim Chun-sung, Vice President Jeon Je-yeol, Director of Planning and Coordination Kwon Gu-rak, Paul & Mark CEO Choi Jae-woong, and Desker General Manager Lee Sang-beom.

The three organizations promised to promote exchange projects such as building a global education network through a cooperative system, cultivating outstanding global talent, and fostering the startup ecosystem in the Honam region linked with the Desker Possibility School.

The main contents of the agreement include ▲ cooperation in building a global education network ▲ cooperation in innovation of industry-academia education ▲ cooperation in establishing a university ESG management platform ▲ cooperation in operating the Desker Possibility School ▲ cooperation in establishing a Desker startup nurturing space ▲ cooperation in youth entrepreneurship education at Chosun University and in the Honam region.

Choi Jae-woong, CEO of Paul & Mark, said, "Students are living in an era where they have lost hope," adding, "I hope Chosun University, by joining hands with Paul & Mark, will reflect on the history and significance of the private university and enter a second heyday."

Lee Sang-beom, General Manager of Desker, said, "The Desker Possibility School is a business growth program for all leaders concerned about organizational growth," and added, "Through operating the Desker Possibility School with Chosun University, I hope it will be an opportunity to strengthen leadership for student entrepreneurs, support organizational growth, and discover new possibilities."
