Co-hosted by Gwanak-gu and Seoul Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration... Comprehensive One-Stop Support Program Covering Gwanak-gu Small Business Policies to Government Support Projects
Personalized 1:1 Consultation Provided by Representatives from Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Small Enterprise and Market Service, and Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation
Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) will hold the "2024 Gwanak-gu Small Business and Traditional Market Support Project Briefing Session" at 2 p.m. on February 20 at the Gwanak-gu Office.
Since the 7th local government term, the district has been committed to revitalizing neighborhood commercial districts and traditional markets with the mindset of "pursuing anything that helps small business owners, even if it costs only 10 won."
In particular, through the "Research Service for Revitalizing Local Commercial Districts," the district selected the top 10 neighborhood commercial districts that form the foundation for local commercial development and has invested a total of 3.3 billion won over five years to provide a self-sustaining commercial base by developing brands and marketing projects to improve the business environment.
Furthermore, this briefing session was prepared to introduce various projects promoted by the district and the government. It is co-hosted by Gwanak-gu and the Seoul Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, with participation from the Small Enterprise and Market Service, the Small and Medium Business Corporation, and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation.
Gwanak-gu will introduce support policies for small business owners such as the "Gwanak-gu Regional Neighborhood Commercial District Revitalization Project" and "Gwanak-style Artterior." The Ministry of SMEs and Startups will provide a comprehensive one-stop support project briefing covering all areas, focusing on safety net policies for small business owners and self-employed persons, policy funds, market development, re-start support, and traditional market revitalization projects.
In addition, one-on-one customized consultations with representatives from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Small Enterprise and Market Service, and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation will be held alongside the briefing session.
Any small business owner or traditional market merchant in the area can participate, and no prior registration is required; visitors can attend on the day of the event.

Park Jun-hee, Mayor of Gwanak-gu, said, "There are various support policies for small business owners and traditional markets, but many small business owners cannot use these policies due to accessibility limitations," adding, "I hope this briefing session will serve as a stepping stone for our district's small business owners to seek new growth opportunities during these challenging times."
