President Yoon Suk-yeol visited Dongnae Market, a representative traditional market in Busan, on the 13th. This visit was part of his plan to strengthen people-centered governance after the Lunar New Year holiday.

The presidential office stated that President Yoon encouraged merchants during his visit to Dongnae Market in Busan in the afternoon, right after a public discussion on livelihood issues.

This was President Yoon's first visit to Dongnae Market since October 2021, when he was a presidential candidate.

During his visit to Busan in December last year, he had visited the International Market and Ggangtong Market.

President Yoon toured the shops in Dongnae Market, encouraging traditional market merchants and communicating with Busan citizens.

He also exchanged greetings with the merchants, asking "Did you have a good Lunar New Year holiday?" and wishing them "Happy New Year."
