Report Meeting Held to Discover Investment Plans

Accelerating the Discovery of Differentiated and Leading Models

Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is focusing on establishing an investment plan for the Local Extinction Response Fund for next year. On the 13th, Sancheong-gun announced that it held a "2025 Local Extinction Response Fund Investment Plan Discovery Report Meeting" at the county office's main conference room.

Presided over by County Governor Lee Seunghwa, the meeting discussed ways to improve the performance of the Local Extinction Response Fund being implemented from 2022 to 2024 and explored the discovery of investment plans for 2025.

Sancheong County is holding a briefing session on the Local Extinction Response Fund project.

In particular, in-depth discussions were held to discover differentiated and pioneering business models to respond to population decline and strengthen local living conditions.

Focusing on discovering projects for the 2025 Local Extinction Response Fund investment plan, Sancheong-gun is strategically identifying detailed projects in various fields such as living infrastructure, housing, transportation, welfare and medical care, culture, tourism, economy, and education through analysis of local conditions.

Governor Lee Seunghwa urged, "Please take full responsibility and do your best in discovering projects that reflect the diverse opinions of the residents so that we can create a vibrant Sancheong-gun where all residents can live happy lives."

Meanwhile, the county is accelerating project discovery by collecting various opinions from local residents, including conducting a Sancheong-type population and youth policy idea contest until December last year.
