Dong-Eui Science University (President Kim Young-do) conducted a global leadership enhancement program from January 23 to 26, lasting 3 nights and 4 days, for 28 enrolled students in Tokyo, Japan, through visits to prominent local institutions and seminars.

As part of the College Innovation Support Project, this event included visits to institutions such as Toshiba Science Museum, Subaru Automobile, and Kawasaki Robotics in the Tokyo area, attendance at the Automotive World 2024 exhibition at Tokyo Big Sight, and participation in special lectures by executives of major Japanese corporations and overseas employment seminars.
During this program, students gained new knowledge and experience through special lectures on topics such as ‘The Meeting of People and Science,’ ‘Corporate Efficiency Considering the Environment,’ ‘Sustainable Corporate Know-how,’ ‘Preparation for Overseas Employment,’ and ‘Understanding Global Science and Technology Trends.’
Professor Jo Soo-beom, Deputy Director of the University Innovation Support Project, stated, “According to the satisfaction survey of this program, the total score was 4.86 out of 5, indicating a very high level of student satisfaction. Through special lectures on innovative Japanese companies and institution visits, students were able to experience different cultures and understand overseas employment trends, fostering a global employment mindset. We plan to expand and improve major-customized overseas training programs in the future.”
