Joint Disaster Preparedness Drill Recognized for Exemplary Coordination Among Related Agencies
Jeonnam Gangjin-gun Public Health Center announced on the 13th that it was the only institution in Jeonnam to receive the Minister of the Interior and Safety Award in the ‘2023 Emergency Rescue Support Agency Capability Evaluation’.
The Emergency Rescue Support Agency Capability Evaluation is a joint training conducted annually, led by Gangjin Fire Station (emergency rescue agency), aimed at improving emergency rescue response capabilities through organic cooperation with related agencies (emergency rescue support agencies).

In this evaluation, the center received excellent ratings in various fields including emergency rescue response training, deployment of disaster preparedness specialists, possession of facilities and equipment, disaster site operation system, and emergency rescue resource survey.
In particular, it was recognized for its significant contribution to the successful completion of the training by maintaining a cooperative relationship with Gangjin Fire Station and actively participating in related agency meetings and joint tabletop exercises as if in a real situation.
Seo Hyun-mi, director of Gangjin-gun Public Health Center, stated, “Through joint simulation training with related agencies for disaster preparedness, we will do our best to enhance the response capabilities of all staff and ensure proactive responses in crisis situations to safeguard community safety.”
