Buan Coast Guard Station Chief (Chief Seo Young-gyo) announced on the 8th that he visited the Seonam Offshore Wind Power Complex in Gochang-gun during the Lunar New Year holiday period to inspect frontline security sites.

According to the Coast Guard, on that day, Chief Seo Young-gyo visited the Korea Offshore Wind Power Co., Ltd. Demonstration Center, listened to officials about the status of the wind power generation system and other operations, and promised to strengthen cooperation with related agencies, including joint training for the defense of important coastal facilities in the future.


He conducted joint duty with the staff of the Gochang Police Substation, directly boarded the Gochang Police Substation Coastal Rescue Boat (S-119), and patrolled the sea area (Seonam Offshore Wind Power Complex ~ Miyeodo ~ Daejukdo). He checked the emergency response posture against illegal intrusions and terrorism by malicious elements at the Seonam Offshore Wind Power Complex, an important coastal facility.


Chief Seo Young-gyo said, "During the Lunar New Year holiday period, we will continuously strengthen anti-terrorism activities at important coastal facilities in the jurisdiction and do our best to ensure a safe Lunar New Year without a single incident or accident."
