Kering Appoints Silver Town Expert Jeong Gi-hwan as Advisor

Caring, a startup specializing in care services, announced on the 8th that it has appointed Jeong Ki-hwan, former CEO of Samsung Noble County who has extensive experience in establishing and operating premium silver towns, as a management advisor to strengthen its expertise in the senior housing business.

Jeong Ki-hwan, who served as CEO of Samsung Noble County, is an expert in elderly housing and medical welfare facilities with diverse experience and expertise throughout the entire process, from initial silver town business planning to management strategy, marketing, recruitment, and operations.


Advisor Jeong served as the CEO of The Signum House, a premium senior welfare housing located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where he established the facility opening and operational systems. He also contributed to establishing an efficient operational system as the facility manager of Science Village, a specialized senior welfare housing for scientists built in Daejeon.


With Advisor Jeong’s joining, Caring plans to expand its scope into elderly housing and medical welfare businesses, aiming to become a total senior welfare platform that enhances the quality of life in old age.


Advisor Jeong Ki-hwan said, “As we approach a super-aged society, companies entering the senior housing business will compete in expertise. By adding expertise in elderly housing and medical welfare facilities to Caring’s experience and know-how, we will create senior housing specialized in mild care and nursing homes.”
