On the 8th, MASTEN Investment Management announced that it has recruited Yoon Ja-kyung, former CEO of Mirae Asset Capital, as the Vice President of the Strategic Planning Division.
Yoon Ja-kyung, who will lead the newly established Strategic Planning Division at MASTEN Investment Management this month, graduated from Korea University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and earned an MBA from the University of Michigan.
After working as a reporter at Maeil Business Newspaper, she served as Head of Brand Strategy at Mirae Asset Group, Head of Corporate and Retirement Pension Marketing at Mirae Asset Global Investments, Executive Director of the Innovation Promotion Team at Mirae Asset Daewoo, and then CEO of Mirae Asset Capital. When appointed CEO of Mirae Asset Capital, she gained significant attention as the first female CEO among the major affiliates of Mirae Asset Group.
Subsequently, she worked as an economic news anchor at Korea Economic TV. Until the end of last year, she served as CEO of CNTOO's subsidiary investment firm, CNTOO Invest.
The Strategic Planning Division at MASTEN Investment Management is mainly composed of the Strategic Planning Office and the Brand Strategy Office. Based on her diverse experience and expertise accumulated from working in media companies, securities firms, asset management companies, capital firms, and investment companies, Vice President Yoon will oversee MASTEN Investment Management’s strategy, planning, and branding operations.
